tangents always welcome here! I hadn't heard of The Lizard Club, but wow, there's definitely a resemblance to Notes of a Crocodile in the concept. and now that you mention it, that's a dichotomy I've noticed a lot in, yknow, Tumblr accounts of queer history and whatnot.
