music round-up: january 2023

my music taste is pretty plebeian, but I want to record songs/lyrics that've been stuck in my head recently :,)

my music listening patterns are marked by mini-pockets of obsession: I usually listen to the same bunch of music, but once in a while I get stuck to a new artist I find like glue, if their discographies and lyrical/song-writing approaches fascinate me. *__* recently my eardrums have been pressed up all against dessa's music page. before that it was tori amos (who weaseled her way into my list of all-time favourite musicians). before, before that was vienna teng, vampire weekend, and then sufjan stevens (for the 6th time probably)... it goes on.
