Due to time constraints I’ve written simpler prompts in some places and… left in more verbiage in others, but that's only because I had unhinged Discord conversations with friends to poach ideas from for some fandoms; it’s not an indication of enthusiasm by any means!
Treats of any medium are very welcome, including after the exchange.
Most of all, I'm great with so-called 'vanilla' sex (fingering, oral, penetrative, grinding), but I'm also very into Liminal and Weird Sex, such as dreamsharing, sex you can't be sure is happening, sex where the script changes because you're applying it to a monster/eldritch horror, or symbolic/metaphorical sex (e.g., sex as apotheosis), and so much more. This list is general because I don't always have specific kinks I like to see, so if you want to write a kink because you think it's fitting for the characters or setting, please go for it!

Apologies for how late this is! I've been waylaid by illness. I adore their unexpected commonalities and how clearly they see each other, in a universe where social webs of discrimination and misunderstanding reign supreme; they're both attuned to characteristics in each other that other people ignore such as anger and resourcefulness, while seeing through the ones that are socially valorised like Akemi's talent for sweet words and flattery. I'd be down to hear your take on how they might cleave under some layers with each other to touch and connect with the hidden substrates of anger in each other, even as their inevitable divisions exist and intervene. Scenes that presage more, beginnings of something deeper, alternative pre-canon accidental meetings, looks at both of them slash-and-burning their way through Japan's norms in their own high vs. "low" avenues would all be welcome!
Some of my DNWs are waived for this fandom; I'm fine with depictions of Mizu/Mikio but would rather not see detailed descriptions of sex for Akemi/Taigen or Akemi/Takayoshi. Given Akemi's position as of the finale, I'm fine with her being conscious of expectations to produce heirs, but would rather not see her written as someone uncomplicatedly embracing parenthood or motherhood without being aware of it as a politically necessary move.
I'm also fine with M/F sex being in the background given the general setting and the fact that the show is set in brothels for part of the time but would prefer as little emphasis on M/F noncon in the worldbuilding/setting as possible.
I've a weakness for mentor/protege relationships gone sour and narratives about broken pedestals, so these two are iddy to me. AUs where Marjolaine survives, or Leliana reminiscing (ambivalently) about Marjolaine in DA:I? Marjolaine's influences haunting and creeping into the present, literally as a ghost or not? More pre-canon looks and inappropriate closeness between the two of them.
Dolores Dei/Irene La Navigateur
Moral quandaries; Dolores Dei's rises and downfalls; honesty about the age of imperialism Dolores Dei was responsible for catalysing; these two are very complicated historical figures and I'd love a look at them, with eyes wide open about their crimes in the narrative.
Feel free to bring in alternative formats like historical articles, protest fliers, songs, in-universe media about them, etc.!
Klaasje Amandou/Revachol
Saw this in the tagset and went, oh, yes. I loved things like the Shivers monologues and more from Klaasje's perspective would be great, but let your imagination run free: conversations, cosmic horror, poisoned love letters (interpreted liberally) from Klaasje to Revachol? Klaasje doing things to feel close to Revachol or to just feel something? Lonely walks out upon the rainy streets at night? Vignettes or visions from The Pale, about broken dreams or alternate lives? Maps, borders, territories. What would fake dating or being in a no-strings-attached relationship with a city be like? What would cityfucking be like, conceptually or not? Revachol's been through much tragedy and bloodshed, and Klaasje's a person marked by regrets and hang-ups herself too. Ieiri Shoko/Kugisaki Nobara
I'm down for all the power dynamics and fucky relationship happenings with these two; I don't mind Nobara entreating herself to Shoko even as they both know it's a terrible idea to get involved. Is Nobara drawn to Shoko because she seems cool and collected on the surface, even if she's a crumbling heap beneath? I like the idea of painplay for these two, but I wouldn't mind a more off-kilter look where the relationship feels "internally" healthy even if to an outsider they would look terribly messed up.
Zenin Mai/Zenin Maki
Yin/yang motifs, the poetic cinema of dying the same way you were born (by your sister's side, in the water), the inherent homoeroticism of your sister being your first love... these two hurt my heart in the best way. Give me relationship studies, bitter breakups, snapshots of their lives in the Zenin house... anything! Anything about their love and complicated devotion to each other.
Mean girl 4 mean girl ship of my heart! I love their prickly banter but I'd also love to see any explorations of them possibly getting to a place of understanding with each other. I'm besotted by their clash in values, worldviews, backgrounds and opinions most of all. I'm open to AUs where Mai survives (instead of Maki?) and they have to navigate the world after. Or outsider POVs from Maki's perspective. Or situations where Nobara starts out admiring Maki and then realises Mai's the real gem she's after.
Kugisaki Nobara/Zenin Mai/Zenin Maki
A classic. There's the well-loved dynamic with the three of them being in a polyamorous relationship, but I'd love to see your take, including if it ventures into different ground! I'm fine with major canon divergences like both twins never joining the jujutsu school(s) and meeting Nobara some other way. I'm also open to Mai and Maki mutually pining while having a ~thing~ with Nobara and/or having fights over who gets to take her out, lol.

Going to be upfront: my prompts for this pairing are deranged and likely fall under several umbrellas of dirtybadwrong, but if you already have something else in mind, please go ahead; I'd love to see it! Maki's matricide has simply given me a craving for deep dives into her dynamic with her mother. I'm intrigued by Maki's unresolved issues and lack of closure for her relationship with her mother, and simply imagine that Mai probably went through a similarly tumultuous relationship with her.
I'm down for darker themes, including but not limited to abuses/imbalances of power from their mother, springing out of the Zenin clan's repressive and claustrophobic environment.
Prompts below were written for both Mai/her mother and Maki/her mother, but feel free to disregard whatever's not relevant. You can also read on for my rambling if you want more details on what I think about their dynamic.
At the same time there’s the compelling thread of how, despite resenting the twins, she’s also bound inescapably to them by blood; there are hints she wields political influence, at least in the shadowy form, with how she advised Naoya in ch. 138, but she’s held back by them.
There’s a possible element of her envying the twins’ freedom from the clan’s social mores, while refusing to acknowledge that to herself. If you subscribe to the idea that she’s in a loveless marriage: she could be jealous of the twins’ affection for each other! And lash out by trying to undermine their love.
Some notes for what I'm obsessed with in these pairings: simmering generational pain and rage expressed and filtered in unhealthy/dysfunctional ways, the horror of motherhood being folded into their relationships, the inability for the twins’ mother to relate to her daughters and show them love and care at all, the reversal of parent-child dynamics, etc. Mai or Maki tolerating a certain amount of boundary-breaking behaviour or dubcon/noncon from her, because it's the only time she's vulnerable or loving.
Some context on what I like about this film: I watched this recently and I love the warmth and comedy in this movie, and melancholic undertones about trying to start again despite shame; I love Will's unexpected commonalities with her mother who's navigating a secret too, but most of all I think there's a lot of possible post-canon bonding to be had, or mid-movie scenes from Vivian's perspective. Or that moment Will's mum walked in on her with a girlfriend. Or what about that first meeting they had, and Vivian's realisation that she loves women (and Will, eventually?) It's been years since this movie came out and I don't mind something set close to our present day, or Will and Vivian closer to middle-age and a look at how their relationship might look years down the road.
I can read/understand Chinese, so feel free to bring in cultural references or Chinese text if you want.
These two seem like they’d have many interesting intersections and conflicts. I’m intrigued by the idea that Juri could’ve nearly been a Rose Bride and Anthy turning her complicated/non-straightforward manipulation upon her. I don’t have many specific ideas, mostly because I don’t have a good imagination; please go wild!
Arisugawa Juri/Tenjou Utena
Utena and Juri's conversation about Juri's relationship with Shiori is so loaded and especially iddy for me, and that's what entranced me about this crack ship -- they're both inwardly dysfunctional individuals who are also arguably the most """chivalric""" within the student council, but with their frictions and differences in values. Juri's far more cynical, and I love her inner tortured self. In other words: go wild!
Kaoru Kozue/Takatsuki Shiori
I'm intrigued by all their similarities as manipulative (evil/blue) purple girls with messed up relationships to femininity -- please feel free to write them bonding or egging each other on or any other AU with canon events, whatever compels you about them.
The sexual tension is just off the charts, but I like Sarah's groundedness and weariness next to Grace's lightcracker challenger personality; down for anything about these two! I like the idea of Grace coming to Sarah while pining for Dani. Or extended delightful or miserable roadtrips.
Sarah Connor/Grace Harper/Dani Ramos
Navigating the pathways to the future together; fix-its where Grace survives; Sarah and Grace teaching Dani fighting skills together; finding Dani's family; camping in the woods; mutual hurt/comfort (including whump) after fights.
Parallel narratives; epistolary formats; meeting again after the movie's end; trying out a relationship together. Alternative first meetings.
Pyrrha Dve/Camilla Hect
The Pyrrhacule family won my heart, even if they may be a mess of psychosexual roleplaying and codependence according to Tazmuir, and I'd love to get more -- comedy, other poignant after-school conversations, etc. I'd also love hurt/comfort with Pyrrha patching Camilla up after an injury (augh), and so on. With the found family foursome, feel free to just focus on any two of the characters instead of all four of them.
For Nona/Camilla: Nona's crush on Camilla was very cute and sweet and I love the bittersweet directions it could be taken in. Nona is Camilla's mission! That kills me! I love women dedicated to young wards. Camilla perhaps indulging Nona in the bathtub...? Fleeting touches, very ambiguous but intense casual physical intimacy would be my jam too. I'd also love to see Nona from Camilla's perspective, what with Camilla potentially mourning Harrow and Gideon and perhaps seeing shades of her friends in Nona, feeling like spending time with Nona is a means to be closer to them, and so on. I'm fine with sexual content though I'd prefer you avoid any exaggerated focus on Nona's youth, naivete, etc. or her having an entirely childlike understanding of sex.
Camilla Hect/Coronabeth Tridentarius
They had to join the BoE together! As Yet Unsent gave such a juicy view into their relationship, and I'm weak for Camilla being asked if she's Cor's partner. Grudging interactions, flirting, etc. anything that develops their interactions more would be gold to me.
Camilla Hect/Dulcinea Septimus/f!Palamedes Sextus
I'm really intrigued by this; feel free to go in any directions that compel you, working off The Unwanted Guest or other things!
Coronabeth Tridentarius/Ianthe Tridentarius
Codependency, that messed up moment your sister didn't choose you to cannibalise, spinning out the aftermath of "Babs? Who cares about Babs?" and so on. I've read As Yet Unsent so feel free to work in the reveal of Coronabeth's hidden neediness, or all the ways she's the worse twin. I'm down for anything about their twisted dynamic. Some ideas: Ianthe being subtly jealous of Coronabeth's affection for other cavaliers (Gideon, Judith, et al.), an AU where Coronabeth does get to be Ianthe's cavalier, an AU where Coronabeth doesn't betray BoE and sticks to her guns and they remain bitter enemies in an inter-galactic conflict...
Kinky ideas, if you swing that way: power plays in bed, praise kinks, Coronabeth trying to shower Ianthe with all the attention she isn't getting, knifeplay as a demonstration of Coronabeth's worthiness of cavalierhood. Whiffs of necrophilia and body horror (in the form of intentional mutilation, Ianthe mocking Corona with all the ropes of what she can do as a Lyctor) while Ianthe is in Babs's body. I'm fine if you want to go AU and write/draw a missing scene where Ianthe is in her own body instead of Babs's.
• Coronabeth letting Ianthe practise small doses of cannibalism or animaphalia on her.
• Ianthe and Coronabeth performing Third House marriage/scarification vows and rituals secretly with themselves.
• Ianthe gets arranged to marry another necromancer (Harrow, perhaps). Coronabeth gets jealous.
• A 5+1 times style study of (twisted) birthdays they've celebrated over the years. Creepy or messed up variants of their "fuck, kill, reanimate" games. Or various times Coronabeth's been mistaken for Ianthe's partner/girlfriend, and vice versa.
• A look at Third House rituals they've done, from the bizarre to ostentatious to downright weird; ritual sex even, where they've been asked to consummate their bond or mark the anniversary of their House's founding (or something...) in front of their peers, parents, anything.
• Alternatively, the Ninth House is obsessed with preservation and entombment, the veiling away of the past; what if the Third House is obsessed with gaudy opulence and the appearance of liveliness even in death? I'm thinking Ianthe having to use flesh magic to build/add on to corpses and a young Coronabeth trying to help her.
• Unexpectedly tender first-time sex with each other.
Cytherea the First/Ianthe Tridentarius
I think that explains it all.
But also! Loved their spark of antagonism in the fight at the end of Gideon the Ninth, loved the casual grace with which Cytherea severs Ianthe's arm. Also, Ianthe skewering Cytherea...
Feel free to transplant them into an AU where Cytherea survived and Augustine, Mercy, or G1deon died at Canaan House instead. I'd love a twisted mentor/protege relationship with them, where Cytherea's the only one who can cow Ianthe's inflated ego into whimpering submission. Give me sexy avulsion, choking, painplay (Cytherea siphoning Ianthe's soul for herself, Ianthe letting her do it for the social points), all the works.
Alternatively: Mithraeum politics and power plays, with Cytherea continuing to plot God's demise behind his back? Particularly with the constant, chronic pain she's been subjected to over the years. Ianthe perhaps coddling up to God and then going behind his back to talk with Cytherea about her plans while being fucked (or fucked over) by Cytherea, in every sense of that word? Anything goes in my books for this; you could give me something simple like the two of them being cloyingly and performatively sweet one moment then debauched and cruel the next, and I'd gobble it up.
Cytherea the First/Mercymorn the First
Body horror, seeking solace in each other, plotting together, meeting in the afterlife/River and dream bubbles, Mercymorn trying to alleviate Cytherea's chronic pain, sexy shenanigans with adjustments for Cytherea's chronic illness.
Gideon Nav/Ianthe Tridentarius
Don't have many specific thoughts except that I enjoyed what we got in Nona the Ninth of these new dynamics, and I'd love to see more; go crazy.
With Gideon/Ianthe, I'm down for banter and comedy and campy weird friendship, and erotic BODY HORROR! with the chussy.
Harrowhark Nonagesimus/Ianthe Tridentarius
Harrow and Ianthe share such a delicious tension, and I'd be overjoyed to see anything showcasing their complicated dynamic; they have their capacities for prickly -- but genuine! -- kindness with each other, and I'd welcome moments exploring those slippery threads of care and distance, neither tender nor cruel; the revelation that they're perhaps sometimes just two [Mercymorn voice] children fumbling in the dark of a hostile situation together. Or go full darkness (death or Ianthe dubconning Harrow), if you like. <3
• An AU where Harrow doesn't turn away from Ianthe after the bathtub attack: "If Ianthe Tridentarius knelt beside you then, [...] you would press your diminished bloody terror into her. You would crawl like a worm to whatever clinging scrap of solace she would give you.”
• Bed-sharing moments on the Mithraeum, in response to Harrow’s fear over Ortus’s attacks, or other forms of trauma/hurt.
• Either of them trying to cook for each other, with disastrous results.
• Harrow's notes state that Ianthe cries herself to sleep every night. I'd love to read about Harrow discovering this, in a hurt with dubious comfort or hurt no comfort scenario.
• Necromancy used for romantic, sexual, or comforting purposes, such as: breathplay via squeezing on the veins or aorta, slowing each other's heartbeats, etc.
• An AU where Ianthe still experiences issues adapting to her bone arm (pain, soreness, loss of control) after the subtextual bone arm sex scene bone arm transplant and Harrow has to step in to attend to her.
• A far-future AU where both are matured lyctors, Harrow never remembers Gideon, and they've settled more into their roles, where they might have unique hurt/comfort rituals after battles or difficult planet missions. (Sorry, for the record, I love Gideon! Feel free to slip in hints that she's still hanging around, somehow.)
• Harrow and Ianthe comforting each other through homesickness (planet-sickness?): giving each other House artefacts/mementos, or recounting childhood memories and stories to each other. Or: kinking on House titles during comfort sex.
Mercymorn the First/Cristabel Oct
Grief, tragedy, not being able to let go of your cavalier after 10,000 years -- these two hit all my buttons. We've gotten new looks at their pre-Resurrection lives in Nona, and I'd love to see something exploring any other dimensions to their relationship hinted or added by those snippets (Cristabel sure sounds like a badass nun, huh).

I adore their unexpected commonalities and how clearly they see each other, in a universe where social webs of discrimination and misunderstanding reign supreme; they're both attuned to characteristics in each other that other people ignore such as anger and resourcefulness, while seeing through the ones that are socially valorised like Akemi's talent for sweet words and flattery. I'd be down to hear your take on how they might cleave under some layers with each other to touch and connect with the hidden substrates of anger in each other, even as their inevitable divisions exist and intervene. Scenes that presage more, beginnings of something deeper, alternative pre-canon accidental meetings, looks at both of them slash-and-burning their way through Japan's norms in their own high vs. "low" avenues would all be welcome!
- That first encounter on the bridge: what went through Mizu's mind? What things made Akemi stick clearly in Mizu's mind, beyond the fact that she's a lady?

Saw this in the tagset and went, oh, yes. I loved things like the Shivers monologues and more from Klaasje's perspective would be great, but let your imagination run free: conversations, cosmic horror, poisoned love letters (interpreted liberally) from Klaasje to Revachol? Klaasje doing things to feel close to Revachol or to just feel something? Lonely walks out upon the rainy streets at night? Vignettes or visions from The Pale, about broken dreams or alternate lives? Maps, borders, territories. What would fake dating or being in a no-strings-attached relationship with a city be like? What would cityfucking be like, conceptually or not? Revachol's been through much tragedy and bloodshed, and Klaasje's a person marked by regrets and hang-ups herself too. I'm curious about themes and commonalities they could share (on a narrative- and character-level).
Classic ambiguous and/or #rancid vibes and romance... smoking together, Ruby shows Klaasje her truck with her secret Rita Haywood poster collection or something, Klaasje admiring Ruby's physique (she seems to like muscles, huh...) and them broaching intimate depths in conversations, fabricated childhoods and painful pasts, etc. all under a veneer of nonchalance?

I like the idea of painplay for these two, but I wouldn't mind a more off-kilter look where the relationship feels "internally" healthy even if to an outsider they would look terribly messed up.

Yin/yang motifs, the poetic cinema of dying the same way you were born (by your sister's side, in the water), the inherent homoeroticism of your sister being your first love... these two hurt my heart in the best way. Going to be upfront: my prompts for this pairing are deranged and likely fall under several umbrellas of dirtybadwrong, but if you already have something else in mind, please go ahead; I'd love to see it! Maki's matricide has simply given me a craving for deep dives into her dynamic with her mother. I'm intrigued by Maki's unresolved issues and lack of closure for her relationship with her mother, and simply imagine that Mai probably went through a similarly tumultuous relationship with her.
I'm down for darker themes, including but not limited to abuses/imbalances of power from their mother, springing out of the Zenin clan's repressive and claustrophobic environment.
Prompts below were written for both Mai/her mother and Maki/her mother, but feel free to disregard whatever's not relevant. You can also read on for my rambling if you want more details on what I think about their dynamic.

At the same time there’s the compelling thread of how, despite resenting the twins, she’s also bound inescapably to them by blood; there are hints she wields political influence, at least in the shadowy form, with how she advised Naoya in ch. 138, but she’s held back by them.
There’s a possible element of her envying the twins’ freedom from the clan’s social mores, while refusing to acknowledge that to herself. If you subscribe to the idea that she’s in a loveless marriage: she could be jealous of the twins’ affection for each other! And lash out by trying to undermine their love.
Some notes for what I'm obsessed with in these pairings: simmering generational pain and rage expressed and filtered in unhealthy/dysfunctional ways, the horror of motherhood being folded into their relationships, the inability for the twins’ mother to relate to her daughters and show them love and care at all, the reversal of parent-child dynamics, etc. Mai or Maki tolerating a certain amount of boundary-breaking behaviour or dubcon/noncon from her, because it's the only time she's vulnerable or loving.
Saving Face (2004)
Wilhelmina Pang/Vivian ShingSome context on what I like about this film: I watched this recently and I love the warmth and comedy in this movie, and melancholic undertones about trying to start again despite shame; I love Will's unexpected commonalities with her mother who's navigating a secret too, but most of all I think there's a lot of possible post-canon bonding to be had, or mid-movie scenes from Vivian's perspective. Or that moment Will's mum walked in on her with a girlfriend. Or what about that first meeting they had, and Vivian's realisation that she loves women (and Will, eventually?) It's been years since this movie came out and I don't mind something set close to our present day, or Will and Vivian closer to middle-age and a look at how their relationship might look years down the road.

Juri's far more cynical, and I love her inner tortured self. In other words: go wild!

For Nona/Camilla: Nona's crush on Camilla was very cute and sweet and I love the bittersweet directions it could be taken in. Nona is Camilla's mission! That kills me! I love women dedicated to young wards. Camilla perhaps indulging Nona in the bathtub...? Fleeting touches, very ambiguous but intense casual physical intimacy would be my jam too. I'd also love to see Nona from Camilla's perspective, what with Camilla potentially mourning Harrow and Gideon and perhaps seeing shades of her friends in Nona, feeling like spending time with Nona is a means to be closer to them, and so on. I'm fine with sexual content though I'd prefer you avoid any exaggerated focus on Nona's youth, naivete, etc. or her having an entirely childlike understanding of sex.

I've read As Yet Unsent so feel free to work in the reveal of Coronabeth's hidden neediness, or all the ways she's the worse twin. I'm down for anything about their twisted dynamic. Some ideas: Ianthe being subtly jealous of Coronabeth's affection for other cavaliers (Gideon, Judith, et al.), an AU where Coronabeth does get to be Ianthe's cavalier, an AU where Coronabeth doesn't betray BoE and sticks to her guns and they remain bitter enemies in an inter-galactic conflict...
Kinky ideas, if you swing that way: power plays in bed, praise kinks, Coronabeth trying to shower Ianthe with all the attention she isn't getting, knifeplay as a demonstration of Coronabeth's worthiness of cavalierhood. Whiffs of necrophilia and body horror (in the form of intentional mutilation, Ianthe mocking Corona with all the ropes of what she can do as a Lyctor) while Ianthe is in Babs's body. I'm fine if you want to go AU and write/draw a missing scene where Ianthe is in her own body instead of Babs's.

• Alternatively, the Ninth House is obsessed with preservation and entombment, the veiling away of the past; what if the Third House is obsessed with gaudy opulence and the appearance of liveliness even in death? I'm thinking Ianthe having to use flesh magic to build/add on to corpses and a young Coronabeth trying to help her.

But also! Loved their spark of antagonism in the fight at the end of Gideon the Ninth, loved the casual grace with which Cytherea severs Ianthe's arm. Also, Ianthe skewering Cytherea...
Feel free to transplant them into an AU where Cytherea survived and Augustine, Mercy, or G1deon died at Canaan House instead. I'd love a twisted mentor/protege relationship with them, where Cytherea's the only one who can cow Ianthe's inflated ego into whimpering submission. Give me sexy avulsion, choking, painplay (Cytherea siphoning Ianthe's soul for herself, Ianthe letting her do it for the social points), all the works.
Alternatively: Mithraeum politics and power plays, with Cytherea continuing to plot God's demise behind his back? Particularly with the constant, chronic pain she's been subjected to over the years. Ianthe perhaps coddling up to God and then going behind his back to talk with Cytherea about her plans while being fucked (or fucked over) by Cytherea, in every sense of that word? Anything goes in my books for this; you could give me something simple like the two of them being cloyingly and performatively sweet one moment then debauched and cruel the next, and I'd gobble it up.

Body horror, seeking solace in each other, plotting together, meeting in the afterlife/River and dream bubbles, Mercymorn trying to alleviate Cytherea's chronic pain, sexy shenanigans with adjustments for Cytherea's chronic illness.
Gideon Nav/Ianthe Tridentarius
Don't have many specific thoughts except that I enjoyed what we got in Nona the Ninth of these new dynamics, and I'd love to see more; go crazy.
With Gideon/Ianthe, I'm down for banter and comedy and campy weird friendship, and erotic BODY HORROR! with the chussy.
Harrowhark Nonagesimus/Ianthe Tridentarius
Harrow and Ianthe share such a delicious tension, and I'd be overjoyed to see anything showcasing their complicated dynamic; they have their capacities for prickly -- but genuine! -- kindness with each other, and I'd welcome moments exploring those slippery threads of care and distance, neither tender nor cruel; the revelation that they're perhaps sometimes just two [Mercymorn voice] children fumbling in the dark of a hostile situation together. Or go full darkness (death or Ianthe dubconning Harrow), if you like. <3
• An AU where Harrow doesn't turn away from Ianthe after the bathtub attack: "If Ianthe Tridentarius knelt beside you then, [...] you would press your diminished bloody terror into her. You would crawl like a worm to whatever clinging scrap of solace she would give you.”
• Bed-sharing moments on the Mithraeum, in response to Harrow’s fear over Ortus’s attacks, or other forms of trauma/hurt.
• Either of them trying to cook for each other, with disastrous results.
• Harrow's notes state that Ianthe cries herself to sleep every night. I'd love to read about Harrow discovering this, in a hurt with dubious comfort or hurt no comfort scenario.
• Necromancy used for romantic, sexual, or comforting purposes, such as: breathplay via squeezing on the veins or aorta, slowing each other's heartbeats, etc.
• An AU where Ianthe still experiences issues adapting to her bone arm (pain, soreness, loss of control) after the subtextual bone arm sex scene bone arm transplant and Harrow has to step in to attend to her.
• A far-future AU where both are matured lyctors, Harrow never remembers Gideon, and they've settled more into their roles, where they might have unique hurt/comfort rituals after battles or difficult planet missions. (Sorry, for the record, I love Gideon! Feel free to slip in hints that she's still hanging around, somehow.)
• Harrow and Ianthe comforting each other through homesickness (planet-sickness?): giving each other House artefacts/mementos, or recounting childhood memories and stories to each other. Or: kinking on House titles during comfort sex.

Grief, tragedy, not being able to let go of your cavalier after 10,000 years -- these two hit all my buttons. We've gotten new looks at their pre-Resurrection lives in Nona, and I'd love to see something exploring any other dimensions to their relationship hinted or added by those snippets (Cristabel sure sounds like a badass nun, huh).

I've kept up with Season 2, so feel free to pull in all the lore you want! Ambiguous endings and ghostly or haunting-related mindfucks are very welcome. Background canon pairings like Shauna/Jeff or Simone/Taissa are fine.It’d be a stretch to say the show is that attentive to concerns like these, but I’m open to critical explorations or subversions of the way the show handles concepts like the ‘wilderness’, and ideas about ‘civilization’ and ‘primitiveness’, including if you want to push back on any of them. I think there’s potential to interrogate notions of “girlhood”, who we ascribe girlhood to, and the violence therein of its middle class manifestations beyond what the show does; if you want, feel free to go there.
I don’t have a lot of specific ideas but I’d love to see your takes! I’m cool with AUs where a different set of people get eaten or die and the other characters have to live with the consequences or hauntings (non-human, metaphorical, or not).

Akilah and Mari are nice opposites to me -- Akilah tries to hold onto a sense of normalcy and stability, Mari's the wrecker of illusions and fantasies! What about them trying to survive the hunts and being inexplicably drawn to each other? I'm open to AUs where they survive and have to navigate the The Wilderness Is Calling saga.

AUs where Crystal doesn't die -- or Crystal becomes a hallucination/haunting like Jackie became for Shauna. Or years after the wilderness, Crystal's still dead, but Misty sees her/still thinks about her?
Shauna Shipman/Jackie Taylor
Ah, longing and weird liminal friendships you could never quite voice out -- what about hallucinations of Jackie in the present day appearing to Shauna as she navigates the murders and cults? What about AUs where the plane crash doesn't happen but something goes wrong in the fabric of the world anyway (an apocalypse, the town is suddenly mysteriously empty) and these two are caught in a claustrophobic and codependent situation where they only have each other, and each others' betrayals and secrets?
Shauna Shipman/Taissa Turner
In the wilderness where ties rapidly change, these two seem to get along really well and get each other—and that continues afterwards into their adult lives. They’re a pair of unlikely commonality: Taissa’s ambitious, Shauna’s soft-spoken and reserved, both have hidden depths of talent and smartness (that conversation about what Shauna would have done in Brown! What Taissa did at Howard!) Down for anything about the relationship!
In general, Taissa’s so interesting to me too—she’s strong-willed in the wilderness, a pragmatist, and yet as a would-be politician she’s known for staying true to her ideals and not misrepresenting herself. I like how grand and fond these two seem to be of each other, how much history there is. Why and how did they break up? What about an AU where they gravitate back to each other over the years many different times (even if they don't act on it) because they know a side to each other nobody else ever could, from their wilderness days?

THEM. The psychological haunting squad! What did they bring from the wilderness and what did they leave behind? What violences do they carry, within themselves or without? What about the complicated aftermath, and the mythology of who they were before (soccer team) clashing with their selves in the wild? No need to feature everyone in detail; I’d be happy with a focus on any two people in this toxic polyamorous (hah) pairing.
Misty Quigley/Natalie ScatorccioYOUR HONOUR, I love them. They're terrible for each other in all the perfectly good ways. Misty is such a failgirl and delightfully morbid, and I love how she and Natalie can't quite avoid each other despite their best wishes. To me, they're disasters waiting to be sprung. Feel free to take this in all the creepy, disturbing, erotically gory or cannibalistic places you want or explore what compels you about them. Some (super) optional ideas:
- Tie-ins or explorations of Misty's backstory; early interactions between Misty and Natalie.
- Unconventional or downright strange getting together fic for them.
- Serial killer or time-loop AUs, where Natalie and Misty are trapped together in claustrophobic situations that nobody else shares with them (and maybe drive each other crazy, or are drawn involuntarily towards each other because they have no other choice).
- Road-trips but much further out this time, with them trying to escape all the messiness of the Yellowjackets team or the haunting effects of the wilderness, and them not quite succeeding, perhaps? This goes double for these two: ambiguous or surreal endings are welcome.
- Accidental (or not) drugging of each other. I'm horrified and fascinated by Misty's use of poisoning as a way to lure people into dependence on her and then eventually as a weapon in adulthood. I think Natalie would find ways to escape because she's savvy, but what about a 5+1 times fic about times Misty tried to poison Natalie, literally or metaphorically?
